To be honest, I'm not sure THEY are even aware of it...
I'm referring to doctors and physical therapists when I say them. Since my four knee dislocations and subsequent ligament surgery in my left knee 12 years ago, I've seen and read a lot. There isn't anyone talking about a specific method to get rid of persistent knee pain completely.
| THEY DON'T WANT YOU TO KNOW ABOUT THE NEW DIAGNOSTIC FOR CHRONIC KNEE PAIN THERAPY |
Sure, you hear about prescription medicines, shots/injections into the knee, and knee surgeries as treatments for chronic knee pain from a medical standpoint... But everyone understands that this is at most a "band-aid" solution to the situation.
Then there's the "over the counter" option, which includes a variety of gels, lotions, and ointments that make the knee feel hot/cold/numb, as well as a variety of knee wraps and braces, as well as a laundry list of tablets that numb the pain...for a while.
Is, however, all of this treatment truly effective?
According to what I've seen, knee rehabilitation "experts" are at best providing "shots in the dark" as to what causes persistent knee pain.
You'll hear a variety of reasons why your knee hurts, including a damaged ligament or meniscus that needs to be repaired.
When I had knee surgery, this was the reason I was given.
What's more, guess what?
After my ACL reconstruction, my knee continued to pain for over a year. So it wasn't only that something in my knee was fractured or torn that caused my chronic knee discomfort.
What about the innumerable people who go to the doctor and have an x-ray, CT scan, or MRI, only to be told, "Nothing is broken or torn." Despite this, they continue to hobble and compensate because their knee hurt.
So, what's next?
I don't hear anyone standing up and providing a strong logical explanation of what the body is doing in this case that doesn't sound like a politician attempting to avoid losing popularity surveys by hedging their answer.
So, here's the deal.
I'm not sure why this hasn't been mentioned by anybody else. I'll do my best to provide a thorough and detailed explanation of WHY persistent knee pain happens. I'll also point you on the right path for getting started.
So, here we go!
You will only ever suffer knee discomfort for one reason and one reason.
Pay close attention now!
Your nervous system is similar to a car's dashboard.
When something in your car breaks down, such as the engine, oil, or battery. That particular portion of your dashboard illuminates to indicate that anything is wrong with that particular component of your vehicle.
Your nervous system works similarly.
When your knee hurts, this is your body's way of informing you that something is wrong with it.
This information is crucial to figuring out what's wrong with your knee.
So the only reason you get knee pain is that the nerves in your knee are being squeezed or interfered with in some way, causing your brain to receive a signal that you have knee pain.
This is so crucial that it is worth repeating.
The nerves in your knee are being pinched or interfered with in some way, which is delivering a signal to your brain that you have knee pain.
The only way to get rid of your knee pain and stop the inflammation, discomfort, and additional wear and tear on your knee joint is to start relieving pressure on the nerves in your knee that are causing it.
This accomplishes two goals:
- You will experience an instant and considerable reduction in the discomfort in your knee joint.
- This begins to create the circumstances necessary for your body to cure whatever is wrong with your knee.
Any other approach to knee pain will leave you with a limited grasp of what is going on in your knee, making it impossible to recognize the underlying pattern in your body and pinpoint the source of your knee discomfort.
At best, you, your doctor, or your knee therapist are making educated guesses about what will work.
The NIH (National Institute of Health) statistics are accurate. The number of knee replacement surgeries continues to rise year after year, with no signs of slowing down.
And the solution is to improve polymers and procedures so that more knee surgeries can be performed. Unless you're coming from the present medical perspective, this doesn't make any sense to me.
That's a lot of "job security!"
However, from the perspective of a chronic knee pain sufferer, you are left to suffer from your knee pain until you reach the age where you can have a knee replacement operation. The only reason they wait is to protect your "best interests" and avoid having to subject you to such a heinous treatment more than once in your life.
They are relying on existing life expectancies to ensure that you will die before the metal/plastic knee replacement joint fails 12 to 15 years down the road, requiring a second surgery.
A new comprehensive and holistic strategy for the treatment of persistent knee pain is required and recommended.
Your doctor and physical therapist should be able to provide you with more information. If your knee pain has been bothering you for more than two months and you've only seen little improvements.
Your knee therapy isn't working at all!
Demand greater results, and if you're met with resistance or pushback, look for someone else to collaborate with.
Over ten years ago, Bill suffered a catastrophic knee injury that necessitated reconstructive surgery on his left knee. This set him on a path to figuring out how to ease the pain, stress, and discomfort he was experiencing in his knee, as well as the rest of his body, as a result of the knee injury and surgery. He now teaches others how to treat knee pain in their own bodies using water, diet, workouts, stretching, and breathing techniques.
